Art Walk welcomes Presenting Sponsor Metropolitan National Bank

First Friday Art Walk is delighted to announce its first-ever Quarterly Presenting Sponsor, Metropolitan National Bank!

“First Friday Art Walk has a twofold mission: to promote fine art and economic sustainability in the Downtown Arts District,” said Clarissa French, Art Walk communications director. “Metropolitan clearly recognizes the importance of the arts in community and economic development, and values what Art Walk members – all small locally owned businesses – have accomplished with this event. We are so grateful for their support.”

As Presenting Sponsor, Metropolitan will be featured on the Art Walk website,, the monthly newsletter, the printable Art Walk map, and the quarterly First Friday Art Walk brochure, the new edition of which will be printed ahead of the July 5 Art Walk. Metropolitan staff and clients will also enjoy a private Art Walk preview event at one of our member venues during their sponsorship term.

“The success of Metropolitan National Bank is founded upon Pride, Passion, and Culture,” says Mark McFatridge, Metropolitan President and Chief Executive Officer. “We are a group of teammates who take Pride in what we do, every day.  We are a group of teammates who have a Passion for our organization, our customers, and our peers.  We thrive in a Culture that encourages engagement, empowerment, and energy. Additionally, this foundation can be seen in our Bank’s support of the communities we serve through our employee volunteers, our sponsorships, and our civic leadership.”

In service to these foundational principles, “We are proud to help support the arts through the sponsorship of the Springfield Regional Arts Council’s First Friday Art Walk,” he added.
