This month’s event begins early with Fresh Gallery’s Fresh Views of Downtown Plein Air Painting Event 9-11 a.m. event with artists painting downtown scenes live, and a Fresh Views reception 2-4 p.m. Don’t miss the outstanding shows at MSU’s Brick City and Student Exhibition Center galleries, and the amazing interstellar vistas of Perspectives: The Art of Christie Snelson at Obelisk Home.

Veterans’ Views is a moving juried photography exhibition highlighting 60 images taken by members of our nation’s armed services. Forty veterans representing the Navy, Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, Army Reserve, National Guard, and the Army Corps of Engineers from 12 states are featured in this exhibit that honors tours of service from 1946 to 2017. This exhibit includes a slate of free public programs, and a “Veterans Family Tree” where patrons can photocopy and post pictures of service members. Presented by the Art Museum and Drury University.
